Membership FAQs

What is a Floral Society Membership?

A Floral Society Membership is a seasonal commitment to receiving thoughtfully designed flowers on a recurring basis. Memberships prioritize rhythm, quality, and relationship over one-off purchases, offering members consistent access to True Grit’s design language and best seasonal materials.

What’s the difference between House Flowers and In Rotation?

House Flowers is a hand-tied bouquet designed for everyday beauty. It is relaxed, textural, and easy to live with.

In Rotation is a designed arrangement presented in a vessel. It is more sculptural and expressive, often featuring unexpected ingredients and compositional movement.

Both reflect the season. The difference is form, scale, and intention.

Are flowers always the same each month?

No. Membership designs evolve with the season. Each delivery reflects what is most beautiful and available at that moment, including shifts in color, texture, and flower varieties.

This variability is intentional and part of the experience.

Can I request specific flowers or colors?

Memberships are designer’s choice. While we welcome tone preferences such as moody, soft, or bold, specific stems, colors, or formulas cannot be guaranteed.

This allows us to design with integrity and respond to the season as it unfolds.

When do deliveries happen?

Deliveries take place monthly on Thursdays.
Studio pickup is available Fridays during designated pickup hours.

Exact dates are communicated in advance.

Do you offer pickup instead of delivery?

Yes. Members may choose complimentary studio pickup. Pickup details are shared prior to each cycle.

Can I pause my membership?

Members may pause one delivery per membership cycle with at least seven days’ notice. Paused deliveries are added to the end of the membership term.

What happens if flowers are unavailable due to weather?

Weather and growing conditions may impact availability. When this occurs, we design with the best possible alternatives while maintaining value, scale, and aesthetic integrity.

Seasonality is not a limitation. It is the foundation of our work.

Where do the flowers come from?

Flowers are grown at True Grit Farm whenever possible and supplemented by trusted local growers and select U.S.-based farms. Sourcing decisions are guided by quality, ethics, and design cohesion.

Are substitutions considered a downgrade?

Never. Substitutions are a natural part of seasonal floral design and are made intentionally to preserve beauty, structure, and longevity.

Can I gift a membership?

Yes. Memberships make meaningful gifts. You’ll have the option to indicate gifting at checkout and include a note for the recipient.

What if I’m not home during delivery?

Please ensure a safe delivery location is available. Once delivered, flowers become the recipient’s responsibility. We are not able to redeliver due to access issues or incorrect information.

Are memberships refundable?

Memberships are prepaid and non-refundable once the cycle begins. This allows us to plan crops, sourcing, and labor responsibly.

Who should I contact if I have questions about my membership?

Membership support is handled separately to ensure care and continuity.
Please contact us via the Membership Support link in the footer.

Is this right for me if I want control over every detail?

Memberships are best suited for those who value seasonal beauty, trust the designer’s eye, and enjoy a sense of surprise. If you prefer complete customization, our custom floral services may be a better fit.
